Refund policy
Thank you for shopping at The Avantguard operated by The Avant Guard Limited. If, for any reason, You are not completely satisfied with a purchase we invite you to review our policy on refunds and returns. The following terms are applicable for any products purchased on theavantguard.com excluding face masks.
Our products can be returned within
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, you can contact us at orders@theavantguard.com. Please note that returns will need to be sent to our warehouse in Hong Kong.
If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

To be eligible for a return, please make sure that:
- The product is in its original packaging.
- The product isn't used or damaged.
- You have the receipt or proof of purchase.
- You obtained a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) from us.
- Products that do not meet these criteria will not be considered for return.
- The RMA number is clearly marked on the outside of the box, to the address supplied in the email with your RMA number.

Send the product with its original packing, the receipt/ proof of purchase and the RMA number clearly marked on the outside of the box, to the address provided in the email with your return authorization. We suggest that you ship the item with tracking, as we cannot take responsibility for lost parcels.
INTERNATIONAL ORDERS
Please be aware that if you are returning your order, duty and taxes may not be refundable.
When returning items to Avantguard after receiving an RMA, please make sure to ship with any necessary Duties and Taxes prepaid. Duties and taxes incurred on items being returned to Avantguard will be deducted from your refund.
RETURN CHARGES
Any shipping charges incurred in connection with the return of a product are non-refundable.
You are responsible for paying the costs of shipping and for the risk of loss of or damage to the product during shipping, both to and from The Avantguard. We suggest that you ship the item with tracking, as we cannot take responsibility for lost parcels.
DAMAGED ITEMS
If you received a damaged product, please notify us immediately for assistance.
